Charlotte Perriand Cansado Bench
A 'Cansado' bench designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1958; mahogany and steel frame and legs with newly upholstered cushions in Thurstan mohair. The bench was designed for Cansado, Mauritania, a town built in the late 1950s by the Iron Mines Company of Mauritania to house its staff.
